FAQ

What makes Flow Laundry different to other laundromats?

  • Flow Laundry is a member of 1% For The Planet and donates 1% of our revenue to positive environmental causes.
  • We use state-of-the-art smart industrial machines that require less water and electricity whilst giving your garments the care it deserves.
  • We do not use toxic PERC in our drycleaning process. This better protects the environment, our staff and our customers.

What days are you open?

We are open for Self Service 7 days a week from 6am to 10pm including public holidays. Attended services are provided Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm.

What are the prices for self service machines and how long are the cycles?

  • Wash cycles range from 24 to 36 minutes
    • $7.50 Double Loader (10kg)
    • $12 Triple Loader (14kg)
    • $15 Quad Loader (18kg) ‍
  • Dry cycles are optimally preset to 30 minutes
    • $8 Large Dryers (14kg)
    • $12 Extra Large (22kg)

How much can I fit into the machines?

As a rule of thumb, washers should be filled to a maximum of 80% of the drum to ensure there is enough room for adequate cleaning agitation. Anything more and it will compromise the overall quality of the clean.

For Dryers we recommend filling the drum to a maximum of 50% for an optimal dry.

Do I need to bring my own laundry detergents?

We provide complimetary laundry detergent for our customers however we understand that you may have your own preferences. If that's the case, we highly encourage you to bring your own detergents to customise your modern laundry experience! Be sure to check the instructions to ensure you put the detergents in the right compartment/s.

What payment types are accepted?

Our machines are all equipped with card readers and will accept VISA and Mastercard. Cash is accepted during attended hours.

Why do I need a larger machine even though my items don’t weigh much?

If your load contains bulky items like doonas, quilts, blankets, heavy towels or bath mats, we might need to upsize. While your load might not weigh much, those bulky items require more space in the washer to get the cleanest washing experience.

I have encountered a problem. What should I do?

Although we run regular maintenaince on our machines, problems can still occur. We will do our best to seek the best solution for you. If you are not completely satisfied or have any concerns please speak to an attendant if avaialable. Otherwise, you can email us at flowlaundry.info@gmail.com and we will review the issue ASAP.
